However, my first priority was simply getting my security art interior pattern collection online in full in the first place, with or without comment.
Hello! My name is Ethan Hulbert and I’ve been collecting security envelopes for their various interior patterns for a number of years now.
I have put a lot of thought into categorizing these patterns, and have formed a good working theory on a spectrum that ties them all together. More on this will be on this page soon.
Security envelope ornamentation is beautiful. It is valuable art and a part of our culture that we take for granted. Well, I don’t take it for granted.
Although I don’t own the rights to any of these patterns, I did take all the photographs and am responsible for the curation. You’re welcome to use these resources for your own projects within the bounds of the law, but I’d love it if you’d credit me and let me know about what you’re working on! I’d love to see.
