Adventuring on my off-days, I actually got lost in the forest and emerged somewhere unplanned. It was a good time. Canon EOS 5D, 8/24/2013.

A section of the forest in Catherine Chevalier Woods, photographed with a Canon EOS 5D, is cordoned off with a thin rope and a “CLOSED” sign in the foreground. The grassy clearing leads into dense woods with large, leafy trees. Light creates a mix of bright and shadowed patches across the scene, highlighting the juxtaposition of human intervention in a natural space.
